Meet The Artist
Sæunn — Internationally acclaimed cellist and creator of The Music Portal
My journey as a classical musician has taken me across the globe—from Carnegie Hall to Saturday Night Live, to schools, prisons, nursing homes, hospitals, and hospice rooms. I’ve spent decades exploring the emotional worlds of masterworks written over the past three centuries and the pieces that move me most are the ones that speak directly to our human experience, the ones that make my hair stand on end.
Performing for audiences around the world has taught me something simple and essential: what matters most is the connection, the moments shared. I consider it an honor to share music with you, and I carry deep gratitude for every piece of music we create and witness together.
