Each month, we enter a shared space for reflection, listening, and spontaneous music.
Before we meet, you'll receive gentle questions to help you reflect on what is present for you.
Then, together, we move through:
What happens inside the Portal?
1. Reflection
A moment to pause and notice what is alive for you.
2. Ceremony
We clear the space and call in whatever support you need for the experience.
3. Excavation
We go a little deeper into what's on your heart, creating space for clarity around your thoughts, feelings, and challenges.
4. Transmission
You settle into a meditative space and receive the music while I improvise live on the cello. You aren't simply listening to the music. You are part of what the music is responding to.
5. Closing
We resurface slowly, taking time to notice what you experienced and what wants to stay with you.
6. Deepening
The recording becomes yours to return to whenever you need it, because sometimes the meaning of a piece of music reveals itself days, weeks, or months later.

My journey as a cellist has taken me from Carnegie Hall in New York to Suntory Hall in Tokyo, from the Los Angeles Philharmonic to the Iceland Symphony.
I've been praised by the New York Times for my "riveting" performances and by the Los Angeles Times for my "emotional intensity."
But alongside my classical career, I've always been driven by a deeper question:
What truth is possible when we open up the music beyond the notes on the page?
Improvisation gives me the freedom to listen, respond, explore, and create something that can only exist in this particular moment.
The Music Portal is an extension of that exploration.
It is a place where I can bring the cello, my intuition, my curiosity, and my years of musical training into a space where there is no predetermined outcome.
